Blue Wave Debuting New Digital Generator Board Systems

As part of Blue Wave’s commitment to constant technological evolution and in providing you with the most up-to-date equipment and service as possible, we have made the decision to discontinue the manufacture of our analog generator boards.

Since January 2024, Blue Wave has been building systems with our new digital generator design. This new design eliminates the need to tune each board as the new design uses a digital signal to drive the boards all at the same programmed frequency. The new boards did require a new generator housing design, so they are not able to be used in the older housings.

Based on our existing inventory and typical annual sales volume, June 30th, 2025 is set to be the last day to place an order for new analog boards.

The affected boards have the following Blue Wave part numbers:

• 105516-1 (120V)
• 105516-2 (240V)
• 105516-3 (208V)
• 105516-3-133 (208V)

As part of our ongoing service commitment to our customers, we will continue to offer board repair services for certain generations of analog boards as long as we are able to reasonably source the necessary components. If you have a board that needs repair, please contact us.

Existing equipment can be upgraded to the new digital design. For many units, it is simply a matter of disconnecting the old generator housing and wiring in the new generator housing with the existing wires. For the more customized systems, or where the generator boards are rack mounted inside of a remote enclosure, it will require some additional components.
